PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer that can prevent unnecessary printing.SOLUTION: A printer includes: printing means for printing an image required to be printed; storage means for storing image data corresponding to images that have already been printed; determining means for determining whether the storage means stores image data corresponding to the image required to be printed; and control means. If the determining means determines that the storage means does not store the image data corresponding to the image required to be printed (S12; NO), the control means controls the printing means to operate (S22). If the determining means determines that the storage means stores the image data corresponding to the image required to be printed (S12; YES), the control means controls the printing means to suspend the operation (S13). |
