Bicyclic heterocycle derivatives for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension

Provided are imidazopyridine and pyrazolopyridine derivative compounds of the general formula (I), wherein the variables are as defined in the specification. Examples of the compounds include N-(2-Fluoro-5-(2-(4-methylpiperazin-1-yl)benzylcarbamoyl)phenyl)-7-(1-methyl-1H-pyrazol-5-yl)imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine-3-carboxamide and N-(5-((2-(2,2-dimethylpyrrolidin-1-yl)ethyl)carbamoyl)-2-methylpyridin-3-yl)-6-( 1-methyl-1H-pyrazol-5-yl)pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyridine-3-carboxamide. The compounds are inhibitors of PDGFR kinase. The compounds may be useful in the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension.
