Provided is a stator of a dynamo-electric machine with which it is possible to mount a coil onto a stator core without damaging the insulating layer of the winding wire. The stator (4) of a dynamo-electric machine (1) pertaining to the present invention is provided with a core back (51), a plurality of teeth (52), a plurality of slots (53), and a plurality of coils (61). The core back (51) is formed in an annular configuration. The teeth (52) are provided so as to protrude inwardly in the radially direction of the core back (51) and have protrusions (521) at the tips. The slots (53) are provided between adjacent teeth (52). The coils (61) are disposed within the slots (53) and are formed as bundles of conducting wires. The protrusions (521) provided on the teeth (52) protrude toward the tips of other teeth (52) adjacent to the tooth (52) thereof, and flat surfaces (5211) are provided on the tips of the protrusions (521). The flat surfaces (5211) are provided parallel to the flat surfaces (5211) that other adjacent teeth (52) have and are provided obliquely relative to the radial direction of the core back (51).
