<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress, when using a toner including metallic particles as pigment, fogging of the toner.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 includes an image forming unit 11G for gold that includes: a photoreceptor drum 12; a charger 13 that charges the photoreceptor drum 12; an exposure device 14 that exposes the photoreceptor drum 12 after charging to form an electrostatic latent image; and a developing unit 15 that has a developing roll 15a arranged opposite to the photoreceptor drum 12 to develop the electrostatic latent image formed on the photoreceptor drum 12 with a toner showing gold (second toner). The developing unit 15 causes the developing roll 15a to carry a developer including the second toner colored with a conductive pigment including metallic particles and a second carrier having a value of resistance set to 9.5 logΩor more, and does not supply an AC developing bias VA but supplies a DC developing bias VD between the photoreceptor drum 12 and the developing roll 15a.</p> |
