The present invention provides a garment-movement-enabling mechanism in which a support member rotates and moves to follow the rotary motion of the neck or arm in a collar portion or sleeve portion of a garment. The garment-movement-enabling mechanism pertaining to the present invention is composed of a garment member constituting a part of the garment, and a support member for supporting the body on the inner-surface side of the garment member. The support member is a flexible plate-shaped member and has one or a plurality of slits in the longitudinal direction. One or a plurality of slide members are fixed to a fastening member that contacts the garment member, at least one slide member fitting into each slit. The slide member is configured so that two concentric, disc-shaped washer members are held with a cylindrical post, the post fitting into the slit, and the diameter of the post being substantially the same as the width of the slit. |
