The medical case (3) comprises a short catheter (1), a needle (2a) threaded in the catheter allowing introduction of catheter into the body. The case which houses the needle after its withdrawal from the catheter is provided with a fixed deflector (16) arranged on the path of a cursor such that the contact of the cursor with the deflector causes inclination of the cursor and hence the needle in the case. A return spring (17) pushes the inclined cursor back in the opposite direction so that the tip of the inclined needle is locked in the case.
