<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable replacement of a return roller of a belt conveyor to be performed very smoothly.SOLUTION: There is used a configuration in which: stationary plates 5 are arranged on both outsides of a return side belt a in a belt conveyor and in positions at every predetermined longitudinal interval; slide plates 8 having grips 7 at the terminals are arranged on one surface sides of the stationary plates; the stationary plates are provided with guide means B which supports the slide plates such that the slide plates turn in tilting directions from a horizontal posture and slide in the longitudinal direction of the belt, and are further formed with notches 14 downward from intermediate upper edges of the slide plates, which engage in a falling-in manner with cut-out grooves 4 that are formed at symmetric positions in the outer peripheries of both ends of a support shaft 3 of a return roller 2; and the stationary plates and the slide plates are provided with posture control means C which establishes an engagement relation in association with sliding of the slide plates in the horizontal posture in the travelling direction of the belt and release the engagement relation in association with sliding in an opposite direction to the travelling direction of the belt.</p> |
