PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the interference between a creep prohibition control and a parking assistance control when a predetermined condition is met and thereby eliminate a driver's discomfort.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device configured to prohibit the output of driving power by automatically stopping an engine when a predetermined condition is met, comprises a parking assistance device assisting in driver's driving operation while a driver is to park a vehicle, and starts the engine if the parking assistance device is activated or starts operating while the engine is automatically stopped, so that it is possible to prevent the interference between a creep prohibition control and a parking assistance control and to eliminate a driver's discomfort. |
