Proposed is a lantern-type planetary reduction gear containing: a housing, in which is installed an input shaft with eccentric portions having satellites mounted thereon; a stationary central lantern wheel which interacts with the satellites; and an output shaft, which is installed in the housing with the ability to rotate and interact with the satellites. The proposed planetary reduction gear is characterized in that the housing thereof has a central opening, inside which opening keyways are provided for accommodating the tooth rods of the central lantern wheel. The keyways can be broached without using high-precision instrumentation, and a reduction gear so produced runs smoothly and has improved noise characteristics. |
