<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable detection of horizontal swing of a car.SOLUTION: A swing detection device for an elevator car includes: a laser sensor fixed to a car frame, and capable of radiating and receiving laser beams; a first member capable of reflecting the laser beams radiated from the laser sensor; and a second member located between the laser sensor and the first member. The first member is supported by the car frame so as to move in the horizontal direction when a car chamber swings. The second member is supported by the car frame so as to move in the horizontal direction different from the one of the first member when the car chamber swings. The swing detection device for an elevator detects the occurrence of the car swing when the laser sensor does not receive the laser beams radiated from the laser sensor by the first member and the second member moving in the horizontal directions relatively, when the car chamber swings.</p> |
