The present invention limits access to data from an application being executed by a device. A display device (1) is provided with: a retrieving means (15) for retrieving an application, the provision of which along with a program has been approved by a broadcast station; a setting reception means (133) for receiving a setting indicating whether the application is permitted to access data pertaining to the recording or playback of the program; and an access limiting means (134) for limiting access by the application to said data. |
