Provided is a voltage supply system, which includes a first battery having a first anode and a first cathode and a contactor electrically coupled in a series between the first anode and an electrical node. The system comprises a first voltage sensor for generating a signal indicating a first voltage level of the first battery, and a second voltage sensor generating a signal indicating a second voltage level between the electrical node and the first cathode. The system also comprises a DC-DC voltage converter electrically coupled between the electrical node and the first cathode; a second battery; and a microprocessor. When the first voltage level and the second voltage level are practically identical wherein the first voltage level is lower than a first threshold voltage level, the microprocessor deactivates an operation of the DC-DC voltage converter to prevent the converter from applying an output voltage to the second battery. |
