This anchor bolt (30) is fixed by being inserted into a hole (2) provided in a wall surface (1). An expanding member (8) is fitted over a taper member (7) which connects to a rod (3). The outer peripheral surface of the taper member (7) has an inclined surface (11). The expanding member (8) is provided with a contact portion (12) which has an inner surface (14) in surface contact with the inclined surface (11) of the taper member (7), and a bridge portion (13) which includes a main body area (13a) and a connection area (13b). The connection area (13b) extends from the edge of the main body area (13a) diagonally towards the outside of the bridge portion, then, at an intermediate portion in the length direction, curves towards the inside of the bridge portion (13) and then connects to the tip of the contact portion (12). When the anchor bolt (30) is inserted into the hole (2), the intermediate portion of the connection area (13b) is pushed and elastically deformed by the rim of the opening of the hole (2) and the inner peripheral surface (4) of the hole (2), and the intermediate portion of the connection area (13b) and the contact portion (12) are pressed against the inner peripheral surface (4) of the hole (2). |
