The present invention relates to a water-based binder for granular-type lithium iron phosphate, which has relatively poor water dispersibility, among positive electrode active materials of a secondary battery. More specifically, the water-based binder is provided to have a specific average particle diameter for a positive electrode active material, and thus has excellent adhesion to a surface of the granular positive electrode active material, thereby improving water dispersibility and electrode resistance.
