<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image acquisition device capable of acquiring a real image and a light spectrum image by a single camera. <P>SOLUTION: The image acquisition device comprises: an optical characteristic change unit 15; an optical system 45 which includes an objective lens 47 and guides light from the objective lens to the optical characteristic change unit; and an imaging device 52 which receives light having passed through the optical characteristic change unit. The optical characteristic change unit comprises plural division units and is configured to selectively dispose one of the division units to an optical path.
