A method for preparing a vinyl chloride polymer comprising • a step of polymerising the vinyl chloride, and optionally a comonomer of same, carried out in an aqueous dispersion in the presence of at least one polymerisation initiator, at least one emulsifying agent and one polymer seed latex containing epoxide functions, resulting in the obtaining of a latex of a vinyl chloride polymer, during which the weight of the seed latex relative to the total weight of the vinyl chloride and the possible comonomer or comonomers of same is less than or equal to 10%; • a step of separating the vinyl chloride polymer from the latex containing same, resulting in the obtaining of a vinyl chloride polymer. A vinyl chloride polymer, the use thereof for preparing films and coatings, article or portion of an article produced therefrom. |
