<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure capable of reducing an operation torque applied to an adjustment lever in the first half of the operation of holding the steering wheel at a position after adjustment and improving the operability.SOLUTION: In a drive side cam surface, a part slidable with individual to-be-driven side continuous surfaces 24a in shifting from a state capable of adjusting the position of the steering wheel to a state capable of holding a position is represented as a sliding contact part virtual line M. With the sliding contact part virtual line M superimposed with the other end N, in the circumferential direction, of individual to-be-driven side continuous surfaces 24a, the sliding contact part virtual line M is inclined to the other side in the circumferential direction relative to the other ends N, in the circumferential direction, of individual to-be-driven side continuous surfaces 24a. In shifting from a state capable of adjusting the position of the steering wheel to a state capable of holding a position, the sliding contact part between the individual to-be-driven side continuous surfaces 24a and the slidable part gradually increases outward from the inner end in the radial direction.</p> |
