<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for a vehicle capable of surely attracting attention of a driver without giving troublesome feeling to the driver. <P>SOLUTION: Urgency calculation means 103 acquires the urgency of a factor occurring in the vehicle on the basis of various kinds of vehicle information obtained by vehicle information obtaining means 102. A spatial frequency and time frequency are set according to the urgency, and display means 101 is controlled so as to operate with the spatial frequency and time frequency.
