<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot coating system capable of suppressing occurrence of coating unevenness occurring in a material to be coated and shortening the cycle time of the coating, and a coating method using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The robot coating system includes a robot and a coating tool. The coating tool has a frame part 30, a driving source 33 and a plurality of coating guns 4. Each of the plurality of the coating guns 4A, 4B, 4C sprays a coating material in a state of being spread in a fixed direction E and a dust coating film layer 72 having a coating film thinner than that of a central coating film layer 71 is formed on both sides of the central coating film layer 71 formed by spraying of the coating material in the fixed direction E. The driving source 33 is structured so as to vary the forming condition of the frame part 30 to any of a first coating condition where the plurality of the coating guns 4A, 4B, 4C form a line in a right oblique direction inclined to the orthogonal direction W and a second coating condition where the plurality of the guns 4A, 4B, 4C form a line in the left oblique direction inclined to the orthogonal direction W. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
