<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stairway covering material excellent in workability and easy to position, re-position and finely adjust even when a tread covering part is adhered to the tread of a stairway substrate with an adhesive, and to provide a stairway covering method using the stairway covering material. <P>SOLUTION: A stairway covering material 1 includes an adhesive layer 2 formed on the lower face of a tread covering part 1c, a net-like body 3 partially layered on the lower face of the adhesive layer 2, and a release paper 4 layered to cover the net-like body 3 and the adhesive layer 2. When the release paper on an area corresponding to a layered region of the net-like body 3 is released and the stairway covering material is overlapped with the stairway substrate, the net-like body 3 only contacts the stairway substrate but the adhesive layer 2 does not contact it. When the net-like body 3 is sank into the adhesive layer 2 by giving pressure onto the net-like body layered region of the tead covering part, it is adhered and fixed thereto, thus actualizing easy and accurate positioning before giving the pressure thereto. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
