<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a model animal exhibiting a pathology closely resembling human allergic rhinitis, to provide a method for screening an allergic rhinitis-curing agent using the model animal, and to provide use of the agent. <P>SOLUTION: The model animal with allergic rhinitis is obtained by sensitizing a non-human model animal having endogenous interleukin 33 with ragweed pollen, and then administering ragweed pollen into the nasal cavity of the model animal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
