The present invention refers to a device for closing sacks, which is intended to join the upper portion of the packing in a quick and reliable manner once it has been filled with the content. The closing is performed by raffia or strap enclosed in a double hem of fabric, the end portions of the strap being knotted for preventing the same from being removed, the hemline being stitched with a straight stich using two threads that form a chain for joining the different layers of the fabric that are formed by the action of the fabric fold. The strap is free for being pulled and compressing the fabric and bringing the mouth of the sack together. (see drawing). |
