The present invention relates to a color verification method of a portable printing device wherein, more particularly, whether colors of an object image, output through a printing device, are corrected appropriately can be determined based on a correction color table after an MCal process, and process time for verification can be more rapidly obtained due to the correction color table. The color verification method of a portable printing device of the present invention which uses the correction color table including reference color values and comparison color values calculated by performing the MCal process on a color area of 1D LUT by different brick media methods includes the steps of: 1) printing the object image by using a printer of the printing apparatus; 2) obtaining a basic color value of the object image by scanning the object image; 3) comparing the obtained basic color value with the correction color table and calculating a color calculation value with the comparison color value corresponding to the correction color table; and 4) determining whether color correction is appropriately performed or is failed by calculating a difference between the converted color calculation value and the reference color value of the correction color table. |
