An energy storage system according to an embodiment includes a new renewable energy module; a first power conversion device which converts energy supplied by the new renewable energy module and supplies the converted energy to a load; and a second power conversion device which converts energy supplied by the first power conversion device to charge a battery. The second power conversion device receives information on the energy supplied by the new regeneration module through communications with the first power conversion device, and sets a charge condition for charging the battery by using the received information. |
