Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for easily generating holographic stereogram content shown at a specific observer position by making correlation between various holographic stereogram design elements clear. The present invention makes it unnecessary to perform a work like setup of a position and a size of a three-dimensional computer model for obtaining the holographic stereogram content observable at the specific observer position. Additionally, the present invention defines the correlation of the cylindrical or the spherical holographic stereogram, thereby being usable in designing a producing system therefor.
