PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope in which a camera unit can be easily mounted and fixed on a distal end body without deforming the camera unit.SOLUTION: A camera unit mounting hole 51 penetrating in an axial direction of an insertion portion is provided on a distal end body 30. A projection part 73 is provided to one of a camera unit 19 and a lock plate 70, and a long hole 72 is provided to the other. The camera unit 19 and the lock plate 70 are inserted in the camera unit mounting hole 51 while the projection part 73 is engaged with the long hole 72. A distal end portion of the camera unit is fitted to a distal end portion of the camera unit mounting hole 51, and movement in the axial direction is only allowed. A fixing screw 71 is attached to a fixing screw insertion hole 76 of the distal end body 30, and the lock plate 70 is pressed against a side wall 78 of the camera unit mounting hole 51 and is fixed by the fixing screw 71. The movement of the camera unit 19 in the axial direction is regulated, and the camera unit 19 is fixed on the distal end body 30. |
