<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens which has a wide angle of view and a high zoom ratio, and achieves high optical performance over the entire zoom range, and whose entire system is compact.SOLUTION: The zoom lens includes, in order from the object side to the image side, first through fifth lens groups having positive, negative, positive, positive, and positive refractive power, respectively. The distance L23W between the second lens group and the third lens group at the wide angle end, the distance L23T between the second lens group and the third lens group at the telephoto end, the composite focal length f23W of the second lens group and the third lens group at the wide angle end, the composite focal length f23T of the second lens group and the third lens group at the telephoto end, and the focal length f1 of the first lens group are set appropriately.</p> |
