<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide apparatuses and methods for efficient production of platelet.SOLUTION: An apparatus of the invention comprises a platelet production chamber 5 being a vessel for storing a liquid containing megakaryocytes, a feeding pump 4 that supplies to the platelet production chamber 5 a culture fluid being the liquid containing megakaryocytes and at the same time being a means for applying an external force to the megakaryocytes to produce platelets, a holding member 6 provided in a part of the platelet production chamber 5, where the holding member 6 is a means for holding megakaryocytes by an eukaryote-capturing material 8 capable of capturing eukaryotes, and the external force comes from the flow of the culture fluid.</p> |
