PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent, in attaching an image holding body to an apparatus body in an image forming apparatus, the image holding body from contacting an exposure device even without a movement mechanism for retreating the exposure device.SOLUTION: A first positioning part 315 determines the position of a housing 314 with respect to a first frame 81 while being fitted to a first guide member 811 provided on the first frame 81. A second positioning part 316 determines the position of the housing 314 with respect to a second frame 82 while being fitted to a second guide member 812 provided on the second frame 82. A contact member 317 is provided on a surface of the housing 314 on a side having an exposure device 33 thereon, and contacts a restriction member 332 to maintain the fixed distance between the outer peripheral surface of an image holding body 311 and an irradiation surface of the exposure device 33. |
