摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode manufacturing method that can enhance the mass productivity of a negative electrode for a lithium ion, and suppress reduction in adhesion of a binder as a constituent element of the negative electrode and non-uniformity of an adhesion state, thereby reducing the DC resistance (DCR) of the battery and enhancing the cycle lifetime.SOLUTION: When a negative electrode for a lithium ion secondary battery which contains at least one kind selected from the group consisting of polyimide, polyamide-imide and polyamide as a binder is manufactured, a negative electrode collector containing negative electrode mixture slurry is subjected to press processing using a thermal press roller which is heated to perform thermal hardening and pressing simultaneously while the temperature of the negative collector coated with the negative electrode mixture slurry containing the bin der is equal to 200 to 400°C.
