PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an actual rotation axis line of a reflection unit from deviating from a setting rotation axis line in an optical deflector causing a piezoelectric actuator of a meander structure to reciprocally rotate a reflection unit around the setting rotation axis line set as the rotation axis line of the reflection unit.SOLUTION: An optical deflector 1 comprises: a support unit 3 that supports a reflection unit 2; and a piezoelectric actuator 4 that has a plurality of piezoelectric cantilevers 5 coupled in series in a meander pattern array, mediates between the reflection unit 2 and the support unit 3, and reciprocally rotates the reflection unit 2 around a symmetrical line (an x-axis) of the reflection unit 2. The reflection unit 2 has a weight 11 in a half part on an opposite side of a side where a folding part 6a coupling first and second piezoelectric cantilevers 5a and 5b from close to the reflection unit 2 is present . |
