PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply system capable of easily detecting the clogging of a fuel filter at a low cost without using an expensive pressure sensor or the like.SOLUTION: A fuel supply system comprises: a fuel pump 12; a fuel filter 11; a vent hole 22 discharging bubbles entering the fuel pump 12; and a vapor discharge pipe 14 whose one end is connected to the vent hole 22 and whose other end is disposed at a position at which a fuel is at least temporarily in a vapor phase in the course of changing a fuel amount of a fuel tank. The fuel filter 11 is a hollow filter, communicates an intake port 17 of the fuel pump 12 with an interior thereof, is elastically deformable from a first form A1 in an initial state to a second form shrinking as compared with the first form A1 in response to an increase in pressure loss, can be elastically restored to the first form A1 if the fuel pump 12 vacuums in the air phase from the vapor discharge pipe 14 while the fuel filter 11 is in the second form, and causes a fuel pressure to be pulsated by a variation in the form of the fuel filter 11. |
