<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reader which allows for homogeneous and highly accurate image reading, in a region including the tip of a document.SOLUTION: Correction is performed to suppress variation of an image, read by a reading section, in the conveyance direction, when the tip of a document, conveyed by means of a first conveyance roller, passes through a press roller and a second conveyance roller. At least any one of correction of conveyance speed of a document, correction of the reading period of a reading sensor, and correction of the magnification of an image read by the reading sensor is performed.</p> |
