PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silicon solar battery which enables the development of a higher open-circuit voltage in a non-vacuum system process.SOLUTION: A silicon solar battery comprises a silicon layer; and a layer including a perovskite-based compound expressed by the general formula (1) below and a compound having a relative dielectric constant of 2 or larger.
