PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a correction method of the tape cut position in a splicing device, capable of suppressing overlapped splicing of two carrier tapes.SOLUTION: While engaging a master tape 90, in which engagement holes 91 corresponding to the feed holes Hc of a carrier tape Tc1(Tc2) are formed with a size of specified value, with a tape feed sprocket 61 engageable with the feed hole Hc, the master tape 90 is fed by rotating the tape feed sprocket 61 by means of a feed motor 62. The fact that a reference part 93 of the master tape 90 has been fed to a tape cut position Lc is then detected by means of an indicator, a correction valueαis obtained based on the difference between the feed amount of the master tape 90, when the reference part 93 of the master tape 90 is fed to the tape cut position Lc, and a design value, and the correction valueαis registered, as a tape cut position correction value, in a controller 30.
