The present invention relates to a connecting and fixing device for pipes for assembly structures such as a display stand or rack, and especially, to a connecting and fixing device for pipes for assembly structures wherein teeth (15), (25) that are formed to vertically face each other on the lateral sides of an upper plate (10) and lower plate (20) are inserted in upper and lower locking grooves (4), (4) of an assembly groove part (3) that is formed in the length direction of a pipe (2), and then the upper plate and lower plate are clamped while being widened by a clamping bolt (40), wherein the upper and lower locking grooves (4), (4) and the upper plate and lower plate teeth (15), (25) have inclined surfaces (4a), (4a) and (15a), (25a) correspondingly formed so that the clamping force of the clamping bolt (40) is applied to the inclined surfaces (4a), (4a) and (15a), (25a) of the upper and lower locking grooves (4), (4) and the upper plate and lower plate teeth (15), (25), thereby enabling clamping by means of pressurization through surface contact with each other, and thus not only providing simple assembly and disassembly and a big clamping force, as is provided in existing products, but also providing a robust fixing force for preventing the shaking of or play between the upper plate and lower plate, thus providing more excellent product reliability compared to existing products. |
