<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet developing apparatus configured to reliably remove wet developer remaining on a developer carrier after development.SOLUTION: A wet developing apparatus 5 includes: a developer carrier 9 for carrying wet developer 12 including toner particles and carrier liquid; a charging section 17 which charges the toner particles; a discharging section 19 which discharges the toner particle included in the wet developer 12 remaining on the developer carrier 9 after the wet developer 12 is supplied to an image carrier 1; a dispersion roller 20 which is rotated in contact with the developer carrier 9 via the discharged wet developer 12, to disperse the toner particles; a removal section 18 which removes the dispersed wet developer 12 from the developer carrier 9; a toner amount detection section 111 which detects the amount of toner particles on the dispersion roller 20; and a control section which variably controls an output of the discharging section 19. The control section controls the output of the discharging section, on the basis of a result detected by the toner amount detection section 111.</p> |
