<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for production of a pneumatic tire capable of reducing generation of bulges in a tire after vulcanization and of producing the pneumatic tire exhibiting stabilized appearance quality without causing deterioration of production efficiency.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for production of a pneumatic tire including a joint process of sticking a side wall rubber on a carcass ply on a molding drum to join a sticking start end to a sticking tail end. In the process, the side wall rubber is cut so that a cut angle becomes 70 to 85° with respect to a center line in the circumferential direction of a tread, and then the sticking start end is joined to the sticking tail end. There is also provided a production method for the pneumatic tire for passenger vehicle having a tire size of 12 to 21 inches.</p> |
