A pressure regulator (10, 90) including: a housing (12, 14, 100) including an inlet flow passage (24, 106) and an outlet flow passage (26); a plunger (30, 92) reciprocally mounted in the housing and including a plunger flow passage (34) having an axis (36) offset from an axis (42) of the inlet flow passage; and a stationary valve seat (32, 102) fixed to the housing and positioned between the inlet flow passage and an inlet to the flow passage of the plunger, wherein the valve seat is configured to receive and abut the inlet to the flow passage of the plunger. |
