PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolytic solution having relatively high magnesium oxidation and reduction current values.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolytic solution to be used for a power storage device in which magnesium oxidation and reduction reactions are utilized comprises: ether solvent; and a halogenated magnesium as an electrolyte and a halogenated aluminum as an additive agent, which are dissolved in the ether solvent. The halogenated magnesium as an electrolyte is magnesium chloride. The halogenated aluminum as an additive agent is aluminum chloride. The ether solvent is 2-methyl-tetrahydrofuran.
