Disclosed are a method and apparatus for hiding an object. The method comprises the steps: receiving a relative movement instruction, the relative movement instruction being an instruction for making two objects move relatively; when a target object exists between the two objects, hiding the at least one target object between the two objects according to the relative movement instruction. By using the method provided by the present invention for hiding an object, one or multiple target objects between two objects can hidden by directly operating the two objects to make the two objects move relatively, and un-hiding can be performed by operating a hiding mark or performing an operation opposite to that for hiding an object on the two objects. Both hiding and un-hiding are convenient, quick and intuitive, and a batch operation can be performed, thereby increasing operation efficiency, improving user experience, better protecting user privacy and ensuring data security. |
