<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retaining wall block useful when constructing a retaining wall structure with a guard fence along a slope with a prescribed pitch. <P>SOLUTION: A retaining wall block RB forms an L shape integrally having a bottom slab part RBa, a side slab part RBb and a column support part RBc. The column support part RBc is positioned on an upper part of the side slab part RBb, and the upper surface thereof is not parallel with a lower surface of the bottom slab part RBa and is turned to an inclined surface RBc1 with a pitch roughly coincident with the pitch of the slope.
