The present invention relates to preventing a liquid leakage from a liquid flow path on a liquid container accommodating unit when a liquid container is separated from the liquid container accommodating unit. An ink container (23) is mounted on an ink container accommodating unit (22) installed in an ink accommodating unit (20) of a printer (1) to be detachable. The ink in the ink container (23) is supplied from an ink supply unit (32) installed on the ink container accommodating unit (22) to a supply tube (16). A check valve (4) is installed in an ink flow path (4) in the supply tube (16). When the ink container (23) is mounted on the ink container accommodating unit (22), a middle member (67) installed in the ink container accommodating unit (22) is pressed and moved in the mounting direction (B) by a substrate holding unit (82). Accordingly, the check valve (4) is converted from a closed status to an opened status. When the ink container (23) is separated, the middle member (67) is moved in the reverse direction of the mounting direction (B), and the check valve (4) is closed. |
