<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED unit in which an electric wire can be led out to a side part of a base, on one surface of which a light-emitting device using LED chips is arranged, and connection reliability between the terminal part of the light-emitting device and the electric wire can be improved, and to provide a lighting fixture using the same. <P>SOLUTION: A lead-out part 1c capable of leading out electric wires 4, 4 is provided on the side edge of the base 1. Each of ribs 1ha, 1ha provided in the base 1 and a part opposed to each of the ribs 1ha, 1ha on the inner circumference of a recessed part 1e constitute a first tension-stop part which retains the electric wires 4, 4 between the terminal parts 3c, 3c and the lead-out part 1c and can control a tension working on one end part of the electric wires 4, 4 from the another end part side.
