<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buckle having a novel structure, which can firmly fasten a belt, when the belt is fastened through the buckle, without damaging the belt at this portion, and further can flexibly respond to the thickness of the belt, and a belt provided with the buckle. <P>SOLUTION: The buckle includes a buckle body portion having a fixture for fastening one end part of a belt, a resilient contact plate resiliently contacting the belt when the other end part of the belt is inserted to the buckle body portion, and a presser pressing the resilient contact plate toward the belt. The presser is provided with an adjustment mechanism for adjusting the force of pressing the resilient contact plate so as to absorb a difference in thickness of the belt. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
