Disclosed is a wide range neutron detector. The wide range neutron detector according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a column-shaped neutron detecting unit detecting irradiated neutrons; a neutron reflecting unit inducing neutron scattering for detecting a thermal neutron; a neutron speed decreasing unit decreasing a speed of the neutrons to detect a high-speed neutron; and a first neutron blocking unit arranged to cover one end of the neutron detecting unit and blocking the neutron. The neutron reflecting unit and the neutron speed decreasing unit are arranged to cover at least some parts of the lateral surface of the neutral detecting unit, thereby classifying areas where the neutrons are detected by the neutron detecting unit per neutron energy. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the present invention is capable of detecting all ranges of neutrons from the thermal neutron with low energy and the high-speed neutron with high energy. The detecting efficiency is almost regularly maintained without changes due to neutron energy, neutron influences and the like can be accurately measured.
