<p>An assessment system comprises a portable electronic device (1, Fig 1) having a camera (2), a microphone (3) and a display (4) and means for collating a plurality of items of data from at least the camera (2) and microphone (3). The items are inputted onto a document or collection of documents stored on the portable electronic device (1). The system comprises means for interfacing with the camera (2) and microphone (3) and means for displaying a document comprising a list of a plurality of tasks and/or requirements which must be met by a candidate being assessed. The system also comprises means for actuating the camera (2) or microphone (3) to record audio clips 18c, photographic clips or video clips 18b and means for associating said clip with any one or more of the specific requirements such that a single clip can be associated with more than one specific tasks and/or requirement. The electronic device (1, Fig 1) may be connected to a PC (50, Fig 2) and the collated items may be used to automatically generate a candidate assessment report.</p> |
