1. A negative electrode for lithium-ion secondary battery, comprising:
a negative electrode current collector having a tensile strength and a thickness, the tensile strength of the negative electrode current collector being 237 N/mm2 or more and 441 N/mm2 or less; and a negative electrode active material layer formed on the negative electrode current collector, the negative electrode having a tensile strength and a thickness; the negative electrode active material layer containing (1) silicon and silicon oxide as main components and (2) a binder and a conductive auxiliary agent; a product of the tensile strength and thickness of the negative electrode being 3.8 to 9.0 N/mm; and a value obtained by dividing the product of the tensile strength and the thickness of the negative electrode by a product of the tensile strength and thickness of the negative electrode current collector being 1.06 to 1.29. |
