1. A printing control apparatus for printing an image on a continuous sheet, the printing control apparatus comprising:
an input unit configured to input a print job; a determination unit configured to determine whether at least one of a size in a length direction and a size in a width direction of a sheet to be used for a target print job matches a width of the continuous sheet being used in printing; a decision unit configured to decide an execution order of a plurality of print jobs based on a determination result, and a print control unit configured to cause a print unit to print images based on the plurality of print jobs on the continuous sheet, based on the execution order decided by the decision unit, wherein the decision unit decides, if one of the size in the length direction and the size in the width direction of the sheet to be used for the target print job matches the width of the continuous sheet being used in the printing and the other one of the sizes does not match the width of the continuous sheet being used in the printing, the execution order so that the target print job gets ahead of a print job for which both of the size in the length direction and the size in the width direction of the sheet do not match the width of the continuous sheet being used in the printing, and a plurality of print jobs for which at least one of the size in the length direction and the size in the width direction matches the width of the continuous sheet being used in the printing are consecutively printed on the continuous sheet, and wherein the print control unit causes the print unit to print by rotating an image based on the target print job if a size in a direction of the sheet to be used for the target job, along the width of the continuous sheet being used in the printing does not match the width of the continuous sheet being used in the printing.
