摘要 According to an embodiment of the present invention, a motor control method of an electronic parking brake system comprises: a step of receiving an input by a switch; a step of determining whether a state of a vehicle satisfies a previously defined condition; a step of operating the motor to perform a normal rotation or a reverse rotation depending on an input by the switch when the state of the vehicle satisfies the previously defined condition; a step of comparing a specific value of the motor with a previously set target value depending on an operation of the motor to determine whether the motor is included in a set range where the operation of the motor can be stopped; and a step of controlling the operation of the motor in accordance with the result of the determination. Under the previously set condition of the vehicle, the motor of the electronic parking brake system is driven without a hall-effect sensor or an encoder to determine a point of time of stopping the motor by comparing the motor current and operation time of the motor with the target current and a target restoration time, thereby reducing the total costs and simplifying the system.
